I
saw a few of these striking swallowtails near the Buddhist caves at
Kanheri, Mumbai. I was guiding students and couldn't take time to
photograph them but I did get this awful record shot which nevertheless
gives an idea of what the butterfly looks like:
You can't tell from this
ragged individual but the hindwings normally show protusions but not
really tails.
