I saw a very tatty butterfly near the exit of the Buddhist caves at Kanheri, near Mumbai, and was able to get this unimpressive shot of it:



Only later did I work out it was a Baronet - an Indian Nymphalid I had never seen before. I did not see any more individuals but will certainly be on the look out if I return, as from the books the fresh butterfly looks like a very handsome creature.
