These three photos were all taken outside a shopping mall in Mumbai. The butterfly is closely related to the millet skipper, Pelopidas thrax, found from Greece and Turkey through Asia to the far East. It is quite a large skipper with a flight so fast it is impossible to see on the wing but a useful habit of returning to the same places.
